It's because it's one of the few songs he can do perfectly.
The voice, the anger, the tone....It's just perfect.

It sounded awkward when he did 'Forgot About Dre' because the voice was a lot different, it was still dope tho.

Yea, it sounded so great. I still liked that they performed "Forgot About Dre" because it gives me such a nostalgic feeling! I agree it was a bit awkward at parts, but again, they performed this in 2012 at the fuckin dopest concert.

I don't think it's easy for him to do that part live due to the big change in his voice. His voice is not that pitched anymore. That's why it was so obvious the lip singing.
