Tomorrow are the MTV awards I never knew until today. Pink will be there for sure, what is the chances of her performing Here Comes the Weekend and Marshall is her surprise guest?

She'll probably Blow Me.

HERE COMES THE WEEKEND
21. Eminem’s on this one. Again, you need to wait a while for MM to turn up and do his star turn.
22. The chorus is a big “here comes the weekend, set off your sirens” chant.
23. As the evidence so far would suggest, it’s a song about having a pretty good time (“tearing up the night”, if you please) on a Friday or a Saturday evening, although probably not on Sunday because let’s face it we’ve all got work on Monday.
24. We’ll be honest with you hear, readers: we were able to listen to this song twice and we couldn’t make head nor tail of most of the Eminem bit. We managed to write down ”big city lights”, “hot diggity”, “…this building cos I’m tearing it down” and “security get out”. There is one properly brilliant bit, though, when he goes “I swear the only thing I hear is the sound of sirens going ‘erghegehghe’”.
25. There are assorted references to booze.

This is taken from journalists who were at the prelistening thing

Wow I've surprised myself by how excited I am for this song. Blow me sounds good so that helps. Also Eminem makes music in cycles and I see his number of tracks starting to pick up which excites me. We had the SH songs, now this, and a lead single from his own album Shouldn't be too far off! Also with Pink saying that they've recorded an additional song, I think we'll see that one on Em's new album!

Oh god no, I'm already disliking the song with all these descriptions of what the song is like

If there is in fact a third Em x Pink collab. It'll be disappointing, I want Em to work with other MC's, no more popstars

Payn3killer....

I hear what you're saying. I'll take this one since its on Pink's album and not his but I'd also like more rappers. Actually I hope he keeps his features to a minimum. Almost exclusively Em, like TES

When this song comes out/leaks, this should be posted at the beginning of every topic created about it.

Although it will still be fun to assess Em's ambition with his sound on this track.
"Oh, he'll give us what we need.
It may not be what we want."

If the song is bad and full of awkward cringe inducing lines with a weird flow, it's going to be critiqued. Don't see the problem with that even if it is supposed to be a "fun" song.

Understandably, but I can see some retard focusing on something like "hot diggity" and saying it was cringe worthy accompanied with a handful of :facepalm :facepalm :facepalm

Yeah I don't see where he's going with that but I doubt it'll be part of a punchline lol. A lot of people, even though they legitimately think a verse/song is bad, will exaggerate quite a bit to make stans mad lol.

I'm not really looking forward to this though. From the review it sounds like he's going to rap quietly and switch the speed up randomly which doesn't sound good imo and I highly doubt this will be good lyrically.

Plus it's a rock influenced beat by DJ Khalil, that's what he was going for when he produced WBD right? WOAT beat.

When is the album dropping? And can we hope for a music video?
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

True...we'll see what Khalil does, I can't picture a beat like that on Pink's album but then again, I didn't expect that on Em's album lmao.

Honestly, "Throw It Up" is what I compare his new stuff to. If it's above that, then I'll enjoy it - even if I don't think it's dope, it'll at least be fun to listen to.

I don't really compare his verses to anything.. My perfectly reachable standards aren't going to be lowered for anyone so it has to be A LOT better than Throw It Up to be enjoyable imo.

It's not hard to top Throw It Up though. It can easily top it and still be pretty bad. Since this obviously isn't going to be a lyrical song, all he has to do is have an enjoyable delivery and not say anything idiotic. Shouldn't be too hard right?

I'll bet anything this beat is going to be terrible though and will be accompanied by an awkward verse and even more awkwardness from Pink lol.
