He does it to get everyone more hyped. He's done it throughout his career. His said from the very begining he doesnt want people to get bored of him, so he doesnt overplay himself.
Doesnt release mixtapes, doesnt jump on every fucking feature like other artist does becuase if he'd done that from the very begining people woulda got bored. They wouldnt now, no, but he only wants to put out his best music - his album quality stuff. It's worked throughout his career, why should he change now?
