Reading through these posts kinda disappoint me, it seems most of the people on this forum are not rap fans, but strictly Eminem fans. Saying Slaughterhouse signing to Shady is not big news and who cares is so naive. This is huge news for hip-hop. Arguably the best 4 underground MC's make a group and release a great album, then sign to Eminem is not good news?

Mate, most people know of it's significance. I personally put Royce/Crooked on par with Em, whilst some on here would put Em above their own mothers. But even i'll say that as far as Eminems current career, it's not big news. For hip hop it is, but twitter is a fan page, and right now Em is bringing out an album. SH signing the line pales in comparison to Ems 7th studio album, and the 4 cats would admit this themselves.

There u go, why would most Em's fans on twitter care about an underground group that Em wants to sign, I'll be very surprised if half of them know who SH is. This has nothing to do with their talent, it's just logic.

SH signing the line pales in comparison to Ems 7th studio album, and the 4 cats would admit this themselves.

This could possibly be an announcement of a Eminem x SH single of some kind..... Though my bet is on april fools so there is basically no way I'll be dissapointed.

SSLP is his debut album so Relapse 2 will be his 6th and i am rally excited to what direction he has took content wise.

I love Relapse and still listen to it regularly along with all his 09 stuff but i have a feelin he is gonna come with far better stuff and i just have a hunch it could be his best album yet.

Forget what Mr Porter and all say,Eminem said himself he felt like he was on top form he thought Relapse 2 was gonna be done by the end of last year so he must of improved an album he obviously thought highly of.

lol who said it's not counted because people don't like it? I think I already said the reason, it's a release before he got signed. If you wanted to counted it as his debut then you could, never say it was wrong to do so, but it's just fact that critics + label + other musics source + almost everyone else counted SSLP as his debut, not Infinite.

Then he debuted with SSLP.

6 albums, counting R2. Infinite doesn't count.

But if you're gonna count Infinite, you better count the Soul Intent stuff.

It doesn't matter how much it sold, it's still an album

Dre wasn't the birth of Eminem, he was the mainstream opportunity.

And that's rubbish. Cos if you're gonna count Soul Intent (group shit), you have to count D12 albums, and i know no one on hear would claim to include them in his lineup.

He was underground and sounded too much like AZ, but it was his first album none the less
