Roman's Revenge was fucking garbage.

This was a dumb sequel and should never have happened but at least his lyrics in this song are solid.

Haven't listened to the song yet, currently at work. But just reading the lyrics, yeah, this is much better than Roman's Revenge. And no, a sequel wasn't needed, but I thought that the concept sounded interesting from the start. The female perspective on the same dysfunctional relationship, two sides of the same coin etc. I just didn't trust Rihanna and/or her people to deliver anything decent. But the lyrics for her part look okay, Eminem's verse looks good. Not nearly as good as the ones for the original, but still.

By the way who wrote Rihanna's part? Did she contribute to the songwriting?

His voice sounds really shot and his flow is pretty shitty but the rhyming is pretty good. Well, gets better as it goes on anyway.

The original shits all over this, just seems totally pointless to make it, really. It's just the original with more Rihanna and a inferior Eminem verse. Adds nothing to the concept.

Still nice to hear him rhyming well, though.

The beat is sicker.
They've made the chorus stronger.
Rihanna's bit is awesome, the lyrics are moving and her vocals are on point. (Whether you like her or not, if you say her voice 'makes your ears bleed', then you're tone death or have some kind of ear disease that you should get checked)
Eminem's verse is better than all 3 verses on the original. (And they were pretty damn good)

I don't get the hate on Roman's Revenge, really. I mean, the beat isn't that great (I like it, but that's because of a few select parts in the beat) but I think both artists did well on the song. It's something I never expected to see happen, I NEVER thought I'd see Em collaborating with Nicki Minaj

Rihanna is so boring in this song......everything she sings in 2 verses is actually just 1 verse because she sings it so sloooooowwwwwwwly....I was actually waiting for her to fall asleep during her singing or however she calls what she does....nice Eminem verse thought I just don't feel too great about the screaming.
