Eminem wanted MMLP 2 to be a surprise I think. He led us into believing we were getting a Recovery 2 and then BAM we're proved totally wrong.

I'm not disagreeing, but why do you say he led us to a recovery sequel?

Yeah I guess that's a large part of it. It's not so much of Em really deliberately leading us into it (even though Em always likes the element of surprise) as it is me just assuming. I mean at this point I should know by know that Em changes his style/sound every album so it's not too much of a shock I guess. I just was stupid in thinking that Em was gonna be on some Recovery shit for like years to come. I had thought he got stuck in a rut of making songs like that and the best he would improve would be to make more songs like on Hell:The Sequel. I was dumb, I know.

It had its Recovery moments but it was definitely TMMLP-esue for the most part IMO.

Headlights is officially the next single, got tears in my eyes, i thought that he wouldn't make this song a single. When he was asked about this, he was like all what i had to say i did in this song, maybe it was a surprise for fans and his mom and brother. I wanted so much that it become a single. For the video, it could be something similar to mockingbird, him watching photos of him with his mom and nate for example.
