I feel you. But we shouldn't have to listen to something over and over and over again to understand the meaning of each line. Like that's cool every now and again, but to continually beat us over the fucking head with it. It's like he's forgetting how to structure his verse where it doesn't sound jumbled anymore. Had the same problem with Calm Down, though there were some dope lines.

A year ago I just listened to Em doing songs like Bad Guy, Groundhog Day, Brainless, Evil Twin, Baby, etc. I know he has THAT in him. Just do THAT.

This shit sounds like a regress in my most honest opinion. It's like new Em can't 100% put it all together anymore.

Encore obviously had 4 AWFUL songs that really brought the album down

Relapse had 2-3 shitty songs, and too many accents that brought it down fromw hat it could have been

Recovery had no truly unlistenable songs but LTWYL was.....well you know and the production was a big miss on 60% of the songs, and that kind brought the album down from what it could have been

Hell the Sequel had maybe a song or two that weren't very good, but the rest was fire IMO. Really really close to perfect record.

MMLP2 had 3 tracks, plus Survival but at least it had dope rapping on that, that were weak. The other 17 songs we got from tha album technically were great.

But it's like there's ALWAYS something now that prevents him from putting it all together 100%. Now with Shady XV, based on what we've heard. It's going to have super complex rhyming on it for the sake of having it, and a fast flow that sounds jumbled.

But with HTS and MMLP2 aside from a few tracks, I really couldn't complain, he went the fuck in and released his best material since 2002 on both instances. This sounds like a bit of a regress for me.

If he would have structured the rhymes different, I swear he could have had a 2 and a half minute verse on this incredibly dope shit. But he chose to try and jam pack every fucking word possible into each bar for that double time shit again, and it was cool on Rap God, even worked on other songs. But it just doesn't sound natural. It's not an enjoyable listening experience.

HTS and MMLP2 had mostly stuff that was still complex and technical but was an enjoyable listening experience. His 2nd verse on Guts Over Fear and the cypher is all I've heard lately that's an enjoyable listening experience IMHO.
