Rabbit Run and Stimulate deserve a mention, especially Stimulate - amazing aliteration in that 1st verse
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome
See Jesus, see Judas; see Caesar, see Brutus
See success is like suicide
Suicide, it's a suicide
If you succeed, prepare to be crucified

I'm reminiscing on your tenderness and the snuggling and teasing
Missing what I remember, kissing and hugging and squeezing
Bugging and weezing, I'm having trouble when breathing

For loving and leaving, you all I'm thinking of in the evening
You got my knees buckling and weakening
Thoughts of nothing but freaking that I'm struggling to keep in
And interrupt when I'm speaking

i thought the rhyming here was flawless.

Yeah that's awesome.

There's a lot of incredible lyricism on Infinite.

Yeah Rock Bottom is perfect.

Any emotional song that has 3/4/5 multie rhymes throughout the whole thing while emotion is upheld, the lexical choice is perfect and the imagery is immense

It's why I love Eminem. Not many artists could spit multies that sound so perfect. I hear some rappers do multies and I think if this was a story it would sound silly because the lexical choices are there purely for rhyming - for Em on this song it's like he wrote the song without even realizing the multies were there lol.

I didnt word that very well. Fuck it.

Yeah I know what you mean it's always what's amazed me the most about him.

Since a kid I've just been like "it's almost like he's just speaking and the rhymes are happening by chance", because he makes, or usually (when on-point) makes each line sound so natural.

He writes conversationally, as if conversing with the listener and of course, telling a story sometimes but it sounds like it's just, as if it could be a legitimate conversation and rhymes are just falling in place.

Run Rabbit Run :y:
He's never sounded hungrier. Stimulate was the first Em song I ever listened to, I remember the first time I did I was like :o

Came back to annihilate, the game's in dire straights, as I await
Word on Satan, as I drop, fall to my knees before this Quija board and I pray
Now I lay me down to sleep
I do this shit in my sleep, I’m sleepin' now, imagine if I awake

As The World Turns featured some really creative rhyming.

How did he think to rhyme "Jenny Craig" with "skinny twig"? And "guinea pig" too.

As The World Turns was the song I discovered multis

His dead wrong verse imo is unjustly underappreciated ...and in terms of the best 16(or however many bars he spit in that)...i think thats it

the flow, multi's and content was untouchable...

crazy in love is another one...people dont even mention that when mentioning best ENCORE songs...
the rhyme scheme in that was sensational

Yeah well...

Cause see they call me a menace; and if the shoe fits I'll wear it
But if it don't, then y'all'll swallow the truth grin and bear it
Now who's these king of these rude ludicrous lucrative lyrics
Who could inherit the title, put the youth in hysterics
Usin his music to steer it, sharin his views and his merits
But there's a huge interference - they're sayin you shouldn't hear it
Maybe it's hatred I spew, maybe it's food for the spirit
Maybe it's beautiful music I made for you to just cherish
But I'm debated disputed hated and viewed in America
as a motherfuckin drug addict - like you didn't experiment?

THAT just melts in your ears.

I think a good move forward would be to focus on this sort of lyricism, maybe drawing on his perspective as always but just forget the puns etc. now

I mean ironically, he said Relapse was a load of 'one-liners' etc. lmao when it wasn't at all. Was just a lot of killing and baby-eating. Then he said with Recovery he wanted to do the opposite, in realiy Recovery is the album with a lot of one-liners.

The way she moves she's like a belly dancer
She's shaking that ass to that new nelly jam, I
Think someones at the door
But I don't think I'm gonna answer
Police saying "freeze"
Doing, doing, doing
What do you mean freeze?
Please, I'm a human being, I have needs
I'm not done, not till I'm finish peeing
I am not resisting arrest, I am agreeing Mr. Officer
I'm already on my knees
I can't get on the ground any further, it's impossible for me
And do not treat me like a murderer, I just like to pee, pee, pee
Yes, I make r&b, I sing song it go
Ring-a-chong, a-ching-chong-chong-chong-ching

Pop junk like I just got jumped
Popped the trunk and pulled out the shotgun pump
Knock wood, it's all good, thank God for Vodka
'Cause with my luck, I'll probably get shot by a stalker
Probably got a fanatic waiting upstairs in the attic
With an automatic calling me up there
My man Stan with a gat in his hand
Staking my house out in a tan tinted Sedan
He pull your mouth out 'til you can't finish a damn
Ham sandwich, or your can spinach and Spam
'til you gotta sip through a straw, shoplifted a mall
Pictures of me on my mom's living room wall
Hey ma, maybe I'll give you a call
Sike you fucking bitch, suck a dick and two balls
I'm giving you all my job descript'
which is to piss bitches and priest off with this
Pop more pills than police officers
Arrive at the scene and pull me off of Kim
Teeth off my dick, hands off my balls
But you all can kiss my ass, pants off and all
'Cause I'm so goddamn off the wall
I might as well as be a painting smashed on the floor

Straight fire.

Funny thing is, even a totally retarded song like that by him has more rhymes than your average mainstream rapper.

I'm keeping it raw, illegal like Maleek and Jamal
Cause I don't believe in the law, like I'm Steven Segal
Flippin off the police while I'm leaping a wall
Take some Tylenol and fall asleep in the mall
I got your little son, you'll be receiving a call
You're lucky this little punk still breathing at all
Fu.ck the world, this is how I get even at y'all
Pop shit, get rolled up, and leave in a ball
I'll hit you in the mouth and sink your teeth in your jaw
You won't be able to eat shit, not even a malt
This lethal assault is giving you a reason to stall
I'm cocking this deuce deuce and I'm squeezing it off
The first burp and a fart, sniffle, sneeze and a cough
Gets your arm chewed off like you was teasing a dog
I'm cold enough and hot enough to freeze and unthaw
I kick my girl out in 10 degrees in a bra
You faggots turn yellow like the trees in the fall
I'm shitting on rappers (Where's Shady?) he's in the stall
All that's left of your niece is a piece of her doll
And all that's left of her puppy is a leash and paw
