My prediction for Em at the Grammys

I would be really pissed if Lady Gaga wins for the half-album that is Fame Monster.

Eminem has been snubbed twice already for Album of the Year, and this year Recovery is definitely the best of the nominees.

Plus Gaga is only 24 and will probably win for a future album.

I don't know... people were pretty pissed last year when Gaga didn't win AOTY. That might sway a lot of the Grammy committee members into voting for her this year. :zipped:

Even though, coming from an unbiased point of view here, 'The Fame Monster' really doesn't deserve it.

Depends on which is more popular as of right now and lately it seems like Eminem and Gaga are in some sort of popularity battle.

Yeah, they are pretty even popularity wise at this point although I'd say Eminem edges her out since The Fame/Monster has been out for well over a year. He's just got such a more interesting story behind him too.

And like I said who knows how many more albums Em will make? Hopefully he'll make them forever but Interscope might not want to risk not pushing this for Album of the Year in case Em does decide to retire soon for some reason.

Seems like their edging towards Eminem for the Grammys so far. He has his own promotional commercial for it, he's getting more attention lately with all the leaks and like you said his album was more recent and has a more interesting story. He also has a bigger history with the Grammys, and after Bieber and Gaga took the VMAs seems like they'll give him the Grammys, atleast i'm hoping they will.

He'll attend unless there's a serious family emergency or he has a health crisis or something.

The question is, what will he perform?

Do artists generally do old songs - the ones they are nominated for - at the Grammys or do they sometimes debut new ones?

If so I can see him and Dre performing a Detox song together (maybe INAD if they don't scrap it)
