Talk about kicking someone while he's down...

He deserved it, everybody should have went at him, how the fuck a rich guy gonna touch little kids? dude could of had any girl he wanted, but he went for kids? and stop blamin his "lack of childhood" doesn't matter, there is no excuse, fuck it, this topic is to much i'm out

What proof do you have that he touched kids? Any?

You got no idea what you're talking about homie.

As for the topic at hand, this is one thing that definitely taints Eminem's great reputation, when he went down the same path as the rest of the sheep (the media) who he usually denounces, and kicked MJ when he was down.

MJ was a great musician, one of the greatest!!! But i never respect him as a person, he was so fucking corny for me, he was so sensitive (in the bad sense of the word) about everythink, a real man don't suposed to act like this. And c'mon, they hadn't the same chidlehood. Em didn't choose to be poor, but MJ had a choice about if he wanted to be famous or not!! And what a man would say: "oh i want to save all kids in the world" and then bild a crib bigger than my village!!! MJ was a music ginious but as a person he was a shit to me!!!!!

Not a fan of MJ at all, has nothing to do with the accusations or anything since I don't know shit about them although I do joke about him being a rapist once in a while (after he died I would make as many jokes about him as I could for the first month just to piss people off) I do respect him for his musical accomplishments just like I respect other artists who are legends (Beatles, Elvis, Vanilla Ice)
i'm not a fan of his music though, I liked beat it for a short period of time when I was 13 and that was it.
Anyways Eminem did not DISS MJ, he parodied & made fun of him which isn't the same as dissing
Making fun of someone is like what you'd do normally if you find something funny about someone you make a couple jokes about it and move on. Dissing someone is when you go out of your way repeatedly to try making them look stupid and prove you're better than them like you'd do to some one you hate at school. People think if rappers just make fun of someone once or twice it's all of a sudden a "diss" when it's not they're just having fun. The media was fucking obsessed with Michael, Em made fun of him on one song and did that baby out the window thing, that was it.

He didn't diss him. As Eminem said, there's an emphasis on MJ in that video because of all the drama that was surrounding him, but did you not also see Em dressed as Pee Wee Herman and Madonna? He was spoofing icons from the 80s.

Big difference between a spoof / jokey imitation, and a diss.

Eminem was a coward. Kicking a man when he is down is just pathetic, and artistically I just find it even more annoying. What kind of relevance does it bring to the table to point fingers at people that are already hurt? Mosh was a much better effort at trying to be controversial because it actually had a point.

And all this "MJ deserved it blablabla". You're innocent till proven guilty, that's how a democracy works. Stop convicting people because of what you THINK.

It was done in a humorous fashion, If he was really trying to insult and drag MJ through the mud he could have done a lot worse.

How was it cowardly? He was parodying 80s icons PERIOD.

Which is why you see Pee Wee Herman and Madonna in there too.

So if he's parodying 80s icons, what would it look like to leave out MJ? He was the biggest of all 80s icons, so then he'd just get called a coward for ignoring it. Can't win.

It's jut a parody, like when he set Madonna's tits on fire, people are just so sensitive about MJ so ignore all the other people he mentioned / mentions and focus on that.

So is it okay for all of America to make fun of him behind his back, every chance they get, throwing around child molestation jokes like they're nothing, but when Eminem POKES FUN (not even disses, but just parodies MJ) at Michael Jackson, suddenly he's the bad guy. No, fuck that, MJ was being clowned on by EVERYONE around the time of these trials and all this drama, so why can't Eminem do it? Because he actually does it out in the open, instead of in the safety of his own house, or in the company of friends? THAT'S not cowardly, THAT'S free speech, that's how democracy works, too. Free speech is just as important, and if Eminem is a coward for speaking freely (unlike the rest of America), then free speech no longer means anything

So because everyone did it he should lower himself? The fact that everyone was doing the same thing just makes it even worse. Unoriginal, desperate. It is like the fortunate kids in school who bully the fat kid to make themselves look better.

You are a coward when you jump on the bandwagon and point fingers at someone who is down. Real men stand up for things they believe in. Eminem obviously didn't. He couldn't write a good song and was desperate so he obviously decided to do what was easiest.

I know you never said that, but I'm saying that to you. It's hypocritical to say that it's wrong for Eminem to make fun of MJ, when all the rest of America is doing it too. That's the point I was trying to make with that first statement

That's the big point I'm trying to make. And I personally don't find it too cowardly, Eminem has a way of taking what's fucked up in the world and exaggerating it. Em has never had anything personally against Michael. At the time, MJ was the big deal, and everyone was bagging on him for it, so Em takes those beliefs and greatly exaggerates them. I'm pretty sure those were his intentions, and not just him jumping on the bandwagon and making fun of him for the sake of doing it
