I always love to beat a dead horse whenever the occasion arises so here we go....

There is no question about it. He most definitely says 'put', and if you still have problems coming to terms with reality,(1) go back and slow the song down, and listen again. (2) Also, go get the booklet that came with your recovery CD, and read the lyrics for yourself, the OFFICIAL lyrics as eminem wrote them. Not from some 12 year old deaf kid on the internet. Those lyric websites are fucking terrible, and they are almost NEVER EVER correct.

Some lyrics say "wrote", some "put". I´m 100% sure it`s "put". And, put-hook-mistook-look, it rhymes.
