They had legal disputes, once again money turns people who work great together against each other.

Eminem and the Bass Bros do not have any issues. Paul, the Bass Brothers and their manager/business partner Joel Martin have issues. In 2006 when his contract with Interscope was renewed Paul attempted to cut them out. It got rather ugly and resulted in Paul purchasing Effigy. Paul has beef with Joel, Jeff and Mark. Marshall doesn't. Beautiful beat was started prior to the fall out so Jeff got credit.
At the time this all went down Em was completely incoherant and in no condition to deal with any of it let alone sign contracts.

yea that piano in Not Afraid that everyone thinks was Eminem's creation is all Resto
i'd even go beyond to say that every song that Eminem produced on TES is mostly Resto as well

Yeah..He's a great composer..But most of the songs were a group effort as well...
He'd do bass and guitar work with Steve and all that.

Yeah... because he's a musician and Em can't play the instruments lmao. But as Em said he often hums the melodies to him and they go off that.

Resto said Em has symphonies in his head.

Also, how many producers, let's say Dre for example - does Dre come up with every melody or bass-line or tune used in his beats? No. He rarely comes up with a single one. He just puts it all together. Em comes up with far more original music than almost any other hip-hop producer.

Almost everybody else samples nearly every element. Em used to create beats from scratch with musicians, live instruments and yeah sometimes they'd come up with the driving force of the song but it was still a collaboration and I'm sure the song wouldn't stick together without his input. Compared to most who just chop up past records and samples etc.
