Careful, don't express your opinions here if it's the not the same as the majority. People might post your picture at you and make a thread about you.DOPE wrote:Most people on this forum are unbelievable. The "new" Eminem is the same guy. He WAS the "old" Eminem, always will be, HE made those albums (SSLP, MMLP, TES). Obviously he can rap the same way again, BUT he does not want to, because every time he puts a song out, he wants it to be unique and different to what he has already done.
How could you people not get this, he can make another SSLP with better production and better lyrics with the same voice and flow (Same goes for all his other albums). WHY do it? when it has already been done successfully, thats exactly the reason Relapse was what it was, Recovery is what it is. Honestly the way he switched his flow on Recovery, is amazing, only if he had Dr. Dre produce this album or had produced it himself, this album surely would sound 10 times better.
Again, Eminem is the same guy who made all those songs every since is debut, what makes you think he can't do the same exact thing again? of course he can, but he won't do it, plus he should not even do it anyway. Thats what a talented artist is, sounding fresh every time.
I have been reading all these comments for entertainment purposes, enjoying what everybody on this forum had to say in the "Eminem" Section. Shaking my head as I say to my self "I can't fucking believe these people".
Stop being ignorant. Em could spit the dopest rhyme that's ever been written tomorrow and people would still say back then was his prime. Em is a much sharper, focused and dedicated artist now. He was a kid then.shadyboymez wrote:Eminem will never be where he was at when he was in his prime. SSLP, MMLP and Eminem Show are unquestionably his greatest work as a rapper. Encore pretty much sucked aside from the odd track or verse. Relapse was something unexpected and a surprising way to return to the scene, and after getting hated on for that album he changed it up and went more serious on Recovery.
Both Relapse and Recovery are good albums, and a hell of a lot different from each other. But neither of them are close to the level of greatness that is SSLP, MMLP & TES.

I'm not saying that he wasn't superb back then, I'm just saying that people look at the past through rose-tented glasses.
I didn't mean a kid as in young, I meant new to this level of music. And sloppy flow? Will you please refer to the OP? Weak ass punchlines? Sure, there's a good portion that are, but there's also a good portion that are incredible. The way he bends words and flows now is like never before.classthe_king wrote:Nollie wrote:Stop being ignorant. What the fuck? He was 28 when he released the SSLP, that sure isn't a kid. Eminem is no where near as sharp or focused now. He's all over the place with his sloppy flow and weak ass punchlines. He has no clue what he wants to do anymore.
