It has everything. i just wish there were more tracks like Deja Vu instead of medicine ball, crack a bottle and we made you.
Agree with this. Aside from the "Medicine Ball" inclusion, as it's pure awesomeness and, apart from saying more "Deja Vu" tracks. I think he summed up all that needed to be said in that track alone. Recovery was flogging an already dead horse for the sake of appeasing people.
I just wish "Beautiful" and "Crack a Bottle" weren't there. They ruin the album. And I'm also FUCKING annoyed that I'll never hear Relapse 2. Especially after the tracks on Refill.

I think a lot of us are wishing he'd make his own hooks again. Maybe he just wanted to focus solely on verses to try and max his lyrical capacity out without focusing on ANY other aspect of song making... that's what it seems like.
Hopefully it's a phase though, and I really hope his next album has well thought-out classic Em hooks.
But, disagree with the "Above the Law" comment. That hook is AWESOME. Good lyrics (for once. A lot of hooks are dumb or thoughtless) and I really like that singer. Like Liz on "Almost Famous" she contrasts Em's yelling and the dark beat well, and makes the whole thing sound eerie.
She sounds like some creepy witch singer or something. And it's catchy as fuck. But, it's good that she sounds like that. Eminem = creepy. And it's what he does best. Creepy and spiteful are his strong points, it's only when he tries to fit in he usually comes off cringing.
