That was a Royce line, & it's really not as impressive as you think it is. People have been joking about the Mario Brothers taking shrooms for years, I take it this is the first time you heard that joke hence why you're so impressed?

i posted it in the "The stupidest fucking line you've ever heard" not because I thought it was bad but because I was giving examples that show that Em has good punches. You may have read it there.

1) He fucked an RV up? the whole set up and concept behind this punch is stupid as fuck and forced
2) It's a huge reach

Fucking really?

The whole line is "The white trash star, I fuck an RV up like Brett Favre". Perfect set-up. The exact opposite of forced seeing as how it has 100% relevance to what he was saying before and it just perfectly fits. It's not a reach at all, in the slightest.

Case closed. /best Eminem punchline ever.

I didn't say it wasn't relevant, I said it was stupid. And I never said the pun was a reach, the Brett Favre part is a reach. Brett Favre didn't create his own name, he didn't fuck up any rv.

But Brett Favre wasn't the one who fucked up the grammar, therefore the line is a reach.

And I never said it was terrible, hence I didn't put it in my list of terrible punchlines. It's just not good, it's decent.

He meant I fuck an RV up like the name Brett Favre. The actual word/noun/name not the person himself. He said the word is fucked up... Plus, it's not a reach as long he gets his point across fine and the listener understands the pun (no one has said this is a reach in any way but YOU).

That's like saying "I'm red rum backwards". OH shittzzxx! Red rom backwordz iz thiz bawttle standun' on itz top. LOLZ, I th1nk it w!ll fallz nd spillz all 0vir da flawr in thatz posit!n'!

No, dumbass. He means he's the word "red rum" backwards which is "murder".

No, he did not say like the name Brett Favre. It doesn't matter if he got the point across, it was still a reach whether you will admit it or not.

So the line should've been "The white trash star, I fuck an RV up like the name Brett Favre"? Yeah, Good going, Marsh. Way to be subtle about a punchline. Oh and congrats on fucking up your flow by adding two unneccesary syllables.

Nope, I never said he should say that either. He should have came up with a more creative way to use it so that it would move from a decent punchline to a good punchline. That's his problem. Like I said earlier, it's not about the pun, it's about the way you use the pun.

The pun was executed beautifully as opposed to the manner that it was used in I'm On Everything. But, go ahead... execute the pun better and more creatively than Eminem.

Agree with this. The execution of the punchline is way more important than the actual punch.....using "like" or "call me" is overused....
