I pretty much agree with Sekou. If Em released an album now, basing it on his post-Recovery form (I'm highlighting that because I know some of you won't take that part in), it would be a very poor album. This is why he needs to step out of the spotlight for a year at least, and find a new direction.

Recovery?

Recovery was his comeback to mainstream music. The whole album basically said "I'm back and stronger than ever". There were no other big concepts or important themes and the album had it's filler tracks too. He can't play the "I overcame my addiction and I'm back" card again.
