Relapse is my favorite Eminem album in terms of production, though

I thought you liked Almost Famous.

A42491563 wrote:EmBase, why do you constantly have to bash the production that Eminem has rapped over since releasing Recovery? We all already know your "opinion" on the production he's rapped over on Recovery and after. I don't see the need to keep complaining about it. The way I feel about it is if you don't like it then just don't listen to it, ok enough of my little rant.

A42491563 - Why do YOU got to come into a thread you disagree with and something you're sick of hearing about and yet make a pointless comment anyway?

Get the sand out of your vagina.

First of all, I rarely even mention the production of Recovery so what the fuck are you talking about. 'Constantly bash?' - If Recovery is ever brought-up, I may occasionally say the production ruined it for me but overall it's a great album, but I don't 'constantly bash' it. And I haven't even talked about any other production other than that. I think HTS production was pretty good... so now you're just imagining things.

This thread wasn't to restate my opinion on that production in particular, I induced that as the backbone, as an example, as this thread is about opening the discussion on other possible production routes and the idea of making songs more than standard hip hop.

If you don't want to join in the discussion or have nothing to add but whining, why bother posting at all? just ignore what I say or move on. Do you seriously think you telling me not to talk about X is going to make me go "wow, you're right, I won't ever mention it again! thanks man.". Of course not. Grow the fuck up, if you don't like what I'm saying, ignore it.

This is a forum, a discussion ground. Would you rather we all went around CONSTANTLY agreeing on everything, even if we happen to disagree, and if ever we dislike something or have an idea to create a discussion... should we run it by you first? or should we just all pretend to live in a world made of marshmallows and ice cream, then all have a little hug and cuddle? If I have something on my mind, I'll post it. Deal with it.

I see plenty of members go on about the same things they always go on about, far more than I mention this. But I don't tell them not to talk about it, if it annoys me, I just blank it. Or go to a thread or discussion I'm actually interested in. You're the equivalent of somebody who goes on the music video of an artist they hate and then bitch about how shit the artist is. Hmmm, idea for ya - DON'T GO THERE.

I'll talk about whatever I like, whenever I like. So fuck off.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aLtlNF_ysYc
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

That's what I mean, listen to that beat in comparison to the beats on Recovery. How can people call Em an average producer, or sub-par, and people like Just Blaze a top producer. When Em produces things like Cheers, Devils Night and The Eminem Show and Just Blaze produces things like "You're Never Over".

Not passing complete judgment on JB as haven't heard enough from him. But the stuff I have heard has been horrible.

Agree with you 100%!
Many of the beats on Recovery are too simple. I think only DJ Khalil delivered.
And maybe Em knew the beats was simple ones, but he just rap on them cuz he wanted to work with other producers.
Hell the sequal was a foot in the right direction. Let's hope his new album has beats like that. I heard he will produce for Slaughterhouse, and I hope he did atleast one for Yelas album too

Not even they are on the same level as the beat Em did for Obie

Which had some production by Em.

Anywho, Legendary shows he's trying something a little different. It shows that Em can be very versatile.

And I want him on an Alchemist beat on his album.

W.T.P's beat sounds like something that can suite 50 more than Em, he sounded a bit outta place there.

Exactly my thoughts, but the chorus is still class. :smoking:

Best beat was so bad I guess. And Seduction beat is cool too.
