Why Do People Hate Relapse But Love Nicki Minaj?

I like both Relapse and Nicki tbh.

But to answer the original question, I think it's because to the mainstream audience, NIcki is new to most of them. They weren't "expecting" anything from her. Whilst a lot of mainstream people had been listening to Em's music for almost 10 years before they got Relapse, so his voice on the album was different to the Em they were used to. Btw, this is not my opinion, I'm just speculating at what some of the public may think.

to be honest if em did the same songs as Nicki, they wouldnt be as good. Maybe its just me but the fact that she is a different artist makes me want to listen to her music. On average, according to some app on my mp3, i listen to about 11 hours of eminem a day, and about 3 hours of other artists... when i hear someone else do a song i like to listen to it, anything to stop me listening to eminem 24/7.

its for my samsung galaxy player 50, the best mp3 there is
im not sure what the app is called, i downloaded it as an addon to winamp, it just brings up an information window when i press one of the buttons, saying about who i listen to, how long for, which songs i listen to the most and stuff liek that.
when it doesnt make my mp3 crash, its a good app.

Because Relapse's accents and content get boring much faster. That was one heck of a long album and with tracks like Bagpies from Bagdad, We Made You, 3 am.... its very easy to hate it soon. Nicki Minaj on the other hand- she switches up her "sound" a whole lot more. Your love, Roman's Revenge, Monster, Fly, SuperBass, Bedrock.... its enough idenity on each track (provided you dont listen to her TOO much) to retain your interest.

Plus, yes, its true. Having a big (admittedly square and ugly) ass helps.
