Recovery is praised for the most part. Most consider it one of the top releases of '10 and a solid album.

I think Relapse got a shitload of hate when it first came out. But magically people started to change their views on it since around the time Recovery came out, and now I almost hear nothing but praise for it lol.

This is only on TRShady. Go to ANY other forum and you'll see how Relapse is bashed like no tomorrow. StudioLeaks for example. I'm pretty sure a good 30% of the population there thinks Encore > Relapse.

Honestly, TR is the ONLY place EVER, internet or irl, that people could say Relapse > Recovery without being flamed or considered idiots. Some people here even consider Relapse, Em's best album which is fucking disgusting. There's no possible way to justify that claim.

I hated relapse when it first came out because I thought Em was trying too hard to be all edgy and offensive, but then recovery came out so relapse looked amazing compared to it. anything would, really.

You could pile reasons why Relapse would suck, but that's not really going to change their opinion. If they do, oh well, but most people would listen anyway.
