There are people that think his flows nowadays is more diverse and he works alot more with the rhythm. I presonally find his new flows to be very uninteresting and boring. They turn me off even if the lyrics are good (which they're not). I can't even hear the rhymes because of it.


Well, it's clearly more diverse & complex than on his first three albums. Relapse being the pinnacle.

He probably first properly heard them from Rakim, but was definitely more influenced by Big L. His SSLP multies are very L-esque. I can imagine Kool G Rap had an influence as well.
