I don't think you people understand what a "forced" rhyme is. Just because he's adding extra emphasis on a certain part of a word, doesn't mean it's a "forced" rhyme. For example: "Cocks per second/Gospel record".

The perfect example would be from "Old Times Sake": ("Damn bitches/temperatures"), it sounds pretty awkward too.

I put up the My Dad's Gone Crazy one because I feel the way he rhymed it was awkward and forced him to say it a certain way, I can't describe it. Regardless, if you disagree with me, I have another one:

"Must be in my blood, cause I don't know how I do it,
All I know is I don't wanna follow in the footsteps of my dad"

Always felt forced to me.

But really the 2 we just suggested could be examples of how impressive it is that he's able to rhyme those.

I think all of the so-called "forced" rhymes are really impressive. I mean, who the fuck would even think of trying to make this shit rhyme, let alone find a way to do it? I love it when he manipulates English.

Agreed! It's even more impressive when he doesn't use an accent.

I think the only reason he used the accent was so that he could rhyme/shape words differently. No accent is still always better though

I don't think he's even rhyming those.

You can hear him put the extra emphasis on "foot" in footsteps and a slight pause before the "steps" to rhyme it. You can hear the rhyme if you listen to it but it's not subtle and kinda stands out.

...he's clearly rhyming with 'a neck with bolts' and 'check the pulse' which is actually a very clever set of rhymes. It flows brilliantly.
