Kanye has produced amazing songs, and has had some clever bars over the years. He can kill hooks too. Definently one of the best overall rappers out there.

How are the lyrics laugh worthy? They're actually pretty good if you grasp the concept.

^ I grasp the concept but he's sayin he's on of the best overall rappers of all time. Truth is he is missing technicalities, which is part of being one of the overall rappers of all time. And don't think I'm someone that puts much emphasis on mutliz cause I don't, just making a point. Other than that he can convey a message, is funny, and sometimes clever. However, to say one of the best overall rappers -- no. Switch rapper with producer then you have a argument that is easy to stand by and is fact nearly.

I don't even want to get into a debate about how incredible each and every Kanye West album is. If you can honestly listen to a Kanye West album, in full, and not appreciate it I don't even know what it must take to impress you. Eminem certainly hasn't topped Kanye's work since TES and he is far FAR less consistent with his work.

But anyway, MMLP is the greatest Rap album of all time, so of course I voted for MMLP.

I agree with this though. I realize that I said MMLP without a doubt but Kanye has GREAT albums. He's able to craft the music to damn near perfection and Kanye would be my favorite rapper if I didn't care about lyrics and rhymes so much, but I do. He's a great artist but as a rapper he has a long way to go before I place him amongst GOATS like Em and Jay-Z.

As far as Em topping Kanye's work, that's a matter of tastes...I feel Recovery is better than MBDTF (a amazing album) and BME is better than WTT (another great album) based on my tastes and opinions. Not everyone will share the same opinion.
