You can hear him get a bit choked up in some parts of it.

When I'm Gone, you can hear the sadness and emotion in his voice. It always moves me when I hear it and it holds a large importance in my life. And to hear that he was actually crying shows how emotionally driven that song was, it is exactly what I would have wanted. However Beautiful is also a great song and given his mindframe when creating it the meaning of it is just as strong.

when i'm gone, this song gets me disturbed each time i listen to it, not beautiful. I guess it's because of the emotion in his voice and the lyrics.

It's close, but I'm going Beautiful. I don't really care for Em's voice in either, but he had more emotion in When I'm Gone. For some reason though, I just feel like Beautiful is the choice.

Side note, I like the video for When I'm Gone, but the last verse looks like they pasted Em's head on some other person's body. I haven't read about the video or anything, so I don't know for certain. It just looks like it though.
