Bizarre Announces Split From D12

Maybe the most recognized member of D12 outside of Eminem has left the group.

Bizarre announced on Monday [February 27] that he was leaving the crew because of creative differences and would be starting his own group.


"Yeah, I’m not in D12 no more. We just had creative differences and decided to go our separate ways – well I decided to go my separate way. It’s a personal decision on my part. I think I’ve just grown as an artist and it’s time for me to branch off on my brand," the animated rapper told HipHopDX.


Bizarre also put rumors to rest that he was joining Odd Future

"And nah, I’m not in Odd Future. I got my own crew called The Weirdo Movement. But shout out to Odd Future though," he said.


With Bizarre's departure D12 now consists of five members - Eminem, Kon Artist/Mr. Porter, Kuniva, Swifty McVeigh and Fuzz Scoota.

I listened to Return of the Dozen Volume 2 and all the random D12 leaks. Besides "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" and "I Made it" Ft Trick Trick, very little grabbed my attention. Its a matter of a group's past gettin in the way of its future i guess.

With so many crews coming (Slaughterhouse, The Standard, Odd Future, The Duos (the throne, B.o.B and T.I, Bad Meets Evil) and a culture of features (YM, GM, SR etc) D12 would have been hard pressed to amass a new significant following.

The fuck you bowing for? Whether you liked Bizarre or not, he was a pivotal part of D12 and his fucked up verses on Devil's Night are what helped made that album a D12 classic.

Fuck, this shit pisses me off. Creative differences? I believe there is more to it, I'm actually pretty upset about this news. I don't even want a fuckin D12 album now, fuck Fuzz and any other person who is attempting to join D12 - it ain't the same.

Don't forget he was one of the earliest member of D12, and a really great friend for all the members. I feel bad for D12, but didn't expect much more. Even though Kuniva tweeted that we're very right to believe Eminem is still D12, this shit pisses me off because Bizarre thinks he'll probably sell more than 100 records, which is pretty impossible.

The crew is dead when Proof died, there's no soul in it anymore. It's really bad, because if Eminem made a funny and provocative single with them such as Fast Lane.. They'd be all over the charts and shit.
