Idk where do you live,but she's all the time in the news because of protests that are happening because of her born this way tour and other stuff,she's on a very HUGE tour right now,selling stadiums all over the world,her first 8 shows earned like insane $30 million.and her last song was released like half a year ago (she was on a break or some shit ).so yeah

It's been a while since she last released a somewhat successful single (Yoü and I back in September). Her tour is doing real good though. 30 million with 8 shows and Born This Way was the 2nd best selling album of 2011.
