I still can't get over you not liking Talkin' 2 Myself. That's one of my favorites on Recovery. :(

Word. I loved it, probably was my second/third favorite at first. I love the beat, the hook is so epic, it honestly gives a whole 'nother dimension to the track.

Then the content and Em's verses are great as fuck. I like how he admitted being weak during that time.

I almost actually after album aging like it less than encore at first i put it as his second worse album but honestly now i just like to listen to more stuff on encore. I still remember when it came out and i was hyped as shit calling it one of his top 3 albums no idea how it dropped so low.

Fixed happy?

I dont know... for example the eminem show and mmlp i listen to them all time. They never get old to me i could listen to those two albums only for the rest of my life. Its similar to maybe radioactive... its good album liked it at time but not much replay value. I listen Trunk Muzik so much more not old.

On topic:

Untitled is choppy, but I like it for the intensity and I love songs without hook, when he just goes in. (let's be real, there's no real hook just a little 5 seconds pause)

I still enjoy recovery, 25 to Life is my favorite song now. It really grew on me. No idea why someone said it contains very basic rhymes.. I think the rhyming, flow, content and intensity were all on point.

The only songs I don't like are Talking' To Myself (which is very boring) and Won't Back Down (which is just a mesh of noises and not enjoyable at all.. But I do like the Bruce Wayne line).

I think the album has aged well, I still enjoy it and I know people who aren't Stans that still bump it from time to time.

I still like Recovery and play it pretty often.
My least favorite tracks are On Fire and Won't Back Down though, a lot of those punchlines make me wanna facepalm lol. But other than that I still really enjoy the album ^_^

The album is getting better for me.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

Agree with most people here, Recovery has definitely aged like fine wine. But unless i'm in a "I gotta listen to this album as a whole mood", I usually end up skipping pretty much all of his singles, especially LTWYL. I'm not one of the people who hate it for Rihanna, it is just SOOOOOOO overplayed.

Also, I personally think W.T.P. is way underrated here. As usual, Em takes a club banger and puts a twist on it with self-deprecation, acknowledging that he is white trash. Plus his flow is quite smooth for Recovery.

One last thing, Seduction has easily grown the most on me. A fuckin' beast of a song. I just love how cocky Em sounds again (and doesn't have to rely on cheesiness to convey that like "Not Afraid").

Still listen to the album and enjoy it mainly for the actual Lyrics as far as what is said and the hooks aside from You're Never Over were real dope to me. Going Through Changes is Em at his best such a real song not entertainment but something people connect to is why a lotta people love this album. It's also an album that i play with out skipping any songs and that is something you can't do with most albums.

I originally agreed with da op, but now that I go back and listen to it I kinda like it. seduction, your never over, and so bad are pretty raw. not really into space bound anymore though, or 25 to life. overall its a pretty good album, and market wise it has done great.

I still can never seem to shake some kind of subtle nagging of 'inconsistency' with Recovery, or, something. I just feel a little confused about my opinion on it as an overall album...

But in terms of individual tracks, there's a lot of classics for me.

"Cold Wind Blows", "Going Through Changes", "Space Bound", "Cinderella Man" and "Almost Famous" would be my top five tracks from the album. Or at least the five I listen to the most anyway.

Almost every track is solid, and there's some incredible highlights.
