There's just so many good songs in that album,I just hope that his next album is just as good if not better.

So Bad, in some way is similar to Superman. Releasing this as a single, well, would eventually mean doing a video for it. And I don't think that he would try to do the same thing that he did in Superman again. It would have been dope to have a video for Won't Back Down, though. Just saying.

^ I agree...Although, So Bad isn't no where near the caliber that Superman is!

Agreed. But the basic feel is kinda common.

I thought No Love was a good single choice at the time, but it did really badly in the end tbh, same with Space Bound. I do think So Bad might've done better than No Love as the 3rd single (not that it's difficult).

I agree about Cinderalla Man aswell, that song was always doing well on downloads, probably could've been big, same with Won't Back Down. Also 25 to Life I think would've been big, although it maybe is a bit too similar to Love the Way You Lie.

No Love seemed like the obvious 3rd single at the time, so I understand why they chose it (I would've done the same), but now looking back they should've used something else imo.

No Love was a good single choice and So Bad and those other songs you mentioned would have done worse.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

He probably hesitated a lot though, maybe he wanted Cinderella Man and Won't Back Down as singles too so that's why we hear them a lot in movies or video games or I don't know. Kinda like, trying to make them sell without having them as singles.

I could imagine "Cinderella Man" in a boxing type video lol.

Cinderella Man was actually the nickname of boxer James Braddock. Unfortunately there has already been a movie made about him starring Russell Crowe, it's really good. When I saw the track list for recovery that's exactly what I thought Cinderella Man would be about. I think the producer even intended that, then Eminem goes and refers to himself as Cinderella Man, which is really feminine AND he shits on Relapse and any of his fans that bought it. I think he really dropped the ball with this song.

So Bad could of been a good single too :y:. It had all the elements that make a good/applicable single, if you will:

-A catchy beat (Produced none other by Dre as well)
-A catchy hook
-Not too many curse words, so editing is easy
-Title doesn't have a curse word or drug/inappropriate reference in it, I.E. Whoever chose Purple Pills as a single was on purple pills IMO. Smart decision making, & marketing are needed.

Emadyville described it perfectly...I'm really confused by all the love for So Bad, I guess it's because this track is one of the few silly ones on Reovery. It still isn't up to par with his typical silly tracks, lyrics wise :shakehead:
