Our House beat sucks so much I want to fucking kill myself.
And Throw that Only has Em on the hook?
Fuck, I give up
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Jimmy Kimmel is fuckin old and he still makes childish jokes, he's still fuckin funny because he switches to being serious and a great entertainer when he interviews someone.

So does Em, he has several characters, it won't hurt if he decides to be any of them because he'd still provide you with a variety of styles.
So don't be quick to judge, wait till you hear Our House.

P.S. No Gentle, he has a verse, Rolling Stones confirmed it.

But Em ain't funny, Im sure you can agree with me when I say Em is at his best when he is expressing himself and his views on subjects, tracks like SFTM, Stan, Rock Bottom etc are the tracks that showcase Ems talent the most.

You may not agree but I think his clearly sheltered life is hindering his subject matter.

Wow...that has to be the lamest thing I've ever heard in my life. :( Dude's fucking 40 years old. C'mon son! Not looking forward to whatever features he's on at all. Same old slap-happy, throw-awayish, easily forgettable, near-irrelevant, wtf-type content we've heard over and over and over and over again.

Disappointed! I can honestly say the creativity isn't there anymore. Or at the very least, it's not what it once was. THAT---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Ux4fW_qgNU is creativity.
"So one last time, I'm back, 'fore it fades into black and it's all over, behold the final chapter in the saga, trying to recapture that lightning trapped in a bottle twice, the magic that started it all...tragic portrait of an artist tortured....trapped in his own drawings..." - Bruce.

This is Exactly what I'm thinking... It's frustrating though because we all know he has the talent too make great music still.

I think he needs to start living in the real world rather than couped up behind his security this is where he will get inspiration from.

Ive seen celebrities walking round without any security... And Ems got a whole army, Paul needs to reassure him that he doesn't need a massive entourage.

I was just listening to SFTM his lyrics are great and very poetic... He needs to go back and listen to his early work because, I am really starting to lose hope for him and his future music.

I can understand why you'd be annoyed by his recent-ish material, but you need to remember that these are guest spot verses, and the other artists want their songs to sound a certain way, like with Obie and 'Richard'.

That's not a valid opinion (even though it's very reasonable and logical thinking) according to 90% of the members here.

Did you miss the argument / debate on how Kendrick Lamar is way better than Em because Kendrick's solo shit is "creative" and "groundbreaking" compared to Em's featured verses? LOL

Just enjoy the music ffs. :facepalm

I guess I'm giving most members here way too much credit.

If these verses were by any rapper other than Em you would not be defending it...

I listen to music, especially for my favourite artist and I expect it to be good.

I'm not defending these verses per se, but if Slaughterhouse, Obie, etc. want the verses/hooks to sound a certain way, what are you gonna do?

I hope that's the case, and Em was just going with the flow of what Slaughterhouse/Obie/Yela want on their album.

But I'm losing hope tbh... I need to hear a good Em song/verse soon to restore my faith.
