It got boring really fast the serial killing, rapist, psycho themes got real boring and were the main factors in it being poor musically and being boring. Beautiful was the best song and that's not just my opinion it was the most well recieved and most loved song on Relapsre that is a fact.

Well first of all, what's your point by saying my opinion is in the minority? you say that as if the masses are a reliable measure of good taste lmao.

The majority are often dumb; the majority often appreciate simpler, lesser art and music; just take a look at the charts. The majority are stupid; intelligence is fringe and good taste is fringe.

That doesn't mean the majority can't love something brilliant, or that the minority are always right; but more often than not, the most meaningful things are an acquired taste. Then over-time those groups of fringe obsessives make that acquired taste something big.

And, an opinion is always 'just an opinion'. So you saying it's 'just my opinion' then trying to validate your own argument by saying "Beautiful" is the most loved, by the most opinions like it means something makes no sense. That's just an opinion too.

It's just 1 of his best songs that's just my opinion but it's a opinion shared by alot. It will always come down to this though with these debates it simply just comes down to taste.

Don't get me wrong i'm not saying Eminem doesn't have up to 3 million which Relapse has sold alltogether today fans that enjoy that Horrorcore/crazy style of music it has its fans who find it appealing no doubting that. I just enjoyed Beautiful alot as i did Deja Vu 2 classic songs that style, theme, content and every other aspect wise appeal to me but the rest of the album it's just not what i like. It's just a matter of taste

Deja Vu is miles ahead of Beautiful lol. That's the type of emotional song I like from him.

To me Beautiful is the better song it has more rawer emotion, the lyrics are more personal and connecting, the hook is 1 of the best ever i think the hook alone on Beautiful makes is superior to Deja Vu and the beat is very good.

I chose Encore. I like the concept of it, though.

Beautiful is terribly written.. Who cares if it's emotional? It's poorly executed and corny. Deja Vu on the other hand is self ridicule and a sarcastic view of past mistakes.. An unexpected route to take for a song like that but it turned out to be one of his best. Only song on Relapse that I consider great.

This, exactly. Both "Beautiful" and "Deja Vu" touch on topics concerning his life, but yet just because the former showcases more emotion, it's better?

Some Eminem fans are pretty daft, it's funny how they think even his poorest work is excellent if it has emotion.

Wow Beautiful is 1 of the best written songs it lyrics describing his depression, battle with drugs, feeling down it was written very poetically which made it amazing. How is it not excuted great? when the concept of it being an emotional song was executed as perfectley as it could as it is 1 of his most emotional songs and that was the purpose of its execution. How is a song people relate to and written from the heart a song as honest as you could get corny? how can a song with that kinda message ever be corny executed with such emotion ever be corny? :(

Great poetic lyrics written perfectley to fit the theme of the song which was dealing with his depression and life, a really great Hook driven by suberb melody, a very good beat and sample and as you mentioned stong emotion. What more can you ask for? every aspect was covered so well to make it a classic song.

Beautiful was corny, and overused an already overused pun and concept. There are infinitely better, more poetic ways, to express a feeling of sadness than just saying you are sad.

Wether a concept is over used is irrelevant if the lyrics, hook, beat, emotion, poetry are excellent and serve the purpose of the theme.

If your a girl that listens to emotional pick-me-up music/my-boy-friend-just-dumbed-me music, then yeah you're right. This song would be the latter of the two.
