SSAD>*

Seriously, one of the best beats on the whole Album. People say "Hello" was boring; but it's not that bad, just a little slow.
[Rollefsen] - SajN retired, bitch got old, unlike Sams "ladies".

What is normal voiced Eminem though? It changes every album...almost every song lol.

Hey pal, I think he meant when Marshall's not using the accent. ;)

The best thing about Relapse... is everything. Content, Lyrics, and beats.

Content wise: it's a sick disgusting image he can put into your head, and he's pretends to be a true genius in every song.

Lyrics wise:
"how many people you kno can name every serial killer who ever existed in a row,
put em in chronological order beginning with Jack the Ripper,
name the time and place from the body the bag the zipper,
location of the woods where the body was dragged and then dumped,
the trunk that they were stuffed in, the model the make the plate
and which motel which lake they found her in,
and how they attacked the victim,
say which murder weapon was used to do what and which one,
which knife and which gun, what kid what wife and which nun,
dont stop, I like this, it's fun, the fucking nights just begun

Beats wise: They all have a hardcore bass in the background with a sweet ass native drum sounding thing. The album is flawless in my opinion, with the exception of Beautiful because I personally don't think it belongs on there, but in a way it's his sober self talking about how he doesn't need all this shit and what not. My favorite album, but I don't think it's his best.

That's not true cos if you saw the interviews on why he made Relapse as far as the theme and using his Shady style you will see what you saying isn't true

Funny thing is, Recovery, singles-wise crushed Relapse.
However, Relapse sold 2.3 million copies in the U.S and 6 million copies WW.
Recovery sold 4.3 million copies in the U.S and 8 million WW.
So technically, it sold just as much outside the U.S
Relapse debuted at #1 in Japan while Recovery debuted at #6
Recovery got the 2 million difference because of the U.S, I blame American media :shakehead:

If Recovery was his comeback album after those 4 years, with those sigles, it would be over 10 million, I think. People went craz for Relapse because it came after the break and most of them didn`t like the accents and the subject matter. That is why lots of people were skeptic towards Recovery when it came out, and that is the reason why Recovery didn`t sold much more than Relapse. I like Relapse more, but for sales, Recovery should have come first.

Dre, you gotta love him. :flutter:

Dude, I do the same thing!

After a long day at work, I just want to get lifted, open a crisp refreshing Pepsi (or another beverage) and throw on some Relapse.

I don't always listen to Em, but Relapse definitely is quite an experience.
And everything's spinning
You're beginin' to think women
are swimming in pink linen again in the sink
Then in a couple of minutes that bottle of Guinness is finished
