Also, Ill Mind 5 alone has double the views that all the videos on the Slaughterhouse vevo page have together, so yeah, I'd say he's pretty known for someone who isn't signed to a major label.

While Obie failed to break 4k with his album.

Yeah...he's a no body :zipped:

On topic: I wouldn't mind it, not a big fan but he can deliver.

Holy shit, he really sold 20k the first week of Ill Mind 5?

That's pretty impressive. I knew it was a very big song for him, but I didn't know he was pushing that many sales in a week. Being that he's indie, that means he pulled in some decent money from that song. I mean, if we were being very conservative, we'd say he did 10k off that?

Jesus. No wonder he's taking his time with Knock Madness. He's not starving anymore...between Ill Mind 5, his past catalog, and his live shows/merchandise, he's doing fairly well for himself.

Yes, there was an article about him on Billboard. He really had a HUGE buzz with that song, being an indie rapper and stuff.
I think he should take his time and be able to put out some classic material.

SH album is out and Joey's already back in the mixtape game, all Hopsin does is touring...he needs to release a mixtape.

Actually, no. Hopsin is trying to build a bigger fanbase before he releases this album. And by touring, he does that pretty well.

Then when he'll release his album, there will be a wider range of people who will buy it. That's kinda clever if you ask me because he's getting money at the same time.

its probably not gonna happen anytime soon, but he is getting close to the Interscope label and people involved. He has stated in videos before that (acutally i think it just got posted in the past week or so) that he has worked on a couple beats with Travis Barker of Blink-182. Travis Barkers manager is who? Paul Rosenberg, ems manager. Hop has also stated, in the same interview that he has talked to Yelawolf on the phone acouple times talking about doing some tracks together. We all know Yelawolf is signed to Shady. Its possible that in the future with the right amount of luck, and how Knock Madness does/is, he might be able to work with Em. if the stars keep aligning then maybe in a year or 2 he might get his chance.

Remember Eminem hasn't even collabed with people he was influenced by and grew up listening to like Nas, Bone Thugs, Rakim so i can't see him ever collabing with Hopsin. Nas a rapper he has said is 1 of his favorites asked him to jump on the Daughters remix this year a type of track he has always made but Eminem refused so it makes no sense he would collab with Hopsin really

I understand em hasent worked with a lot of artists, especially big name ones, so why Hopsin? Em doesnt work with alot of these big name guys, for one reason, he doesnt put out alot of material. we never really get any new em music unless its on his own album. if em was a mixtape guy then yes, im sure he would have worked with nas, bone thugs, and many more that u named. However, em is at the point of his career where he is more focused on getting other rappers the attention they deserve. see yelawolf, b.o.b, slaughterhouse. in a year or so hopsin might be at the point where all he needs is that one final cosign from someone to get big. Em is that guy.

The thing is even if Eminem did collab with Hopsin i don't think Hopsin would blow up or sell or really be succesful where people really in high numbers support him. I don't think he is a rapper that will ever blow up even if there was a collab.

I think Em should collaborate with Hopsin on HIS material. Hopsin has no business being on an Eminem album. For Hopsin's project, sure.

I like this idea the best. I mean, it'd be crazy (when you think about it to some extent) a rapper whose favorite rapper is who he is collabing with...idk but i love hopsin and love eminem much more. I'd love to hear it but i feel the debate and drama around it would be too big and overshadow whatever they do. But if they did collab, like kill you said, I'd want it to be em featuring on a hopsin song

I'm never gonna get the big deal about Hopsin, I dont hate him enough to skip over a track that features him but I find him kinda boring. All the hype online and I downloaded RAW and was left yawning by the time it was over, he just doesn't do anything I havent heard done better a million times.

Em needs to stop dragging ass and collabo with Tech N9ne already tho, its annoying everytime I listen to Son Lonely on Techs record, Em was suppose to be on that and he would have sounded perfect on there.

There was a good reason why he wasn't on that song.

hopsin should not talk to losers of 40 years from SH =p or he gonna end up in shady records, selling 70 k copies in 20 years and release songs with generic beats and cee-lo on chorus singing "my liiiiiiiiiiiiife"
