lol just sayin. It's not like I'm saying it was the best song in his whole discography. I guess it's just the nostalgia of it thats rating it so high for me. It just feels like an 'Eminem' song to me.

And one of my least favourite on the album - I can see how it would be a good song to many, "cause itz meaningfulz, haz hart man, I can relatez" etc. but just his voice and the subject-matter... it's a snooze fest to me, but the intent is at least admirable.

The way Em used that sample, and the imagery behind it is good though.

I'd probably rate it 6/10.

That's not at all what makes it a good song to me. I truly appreciate the calm rhythmic flow and smooth delivery of the song. It's a nice difference in tone from anything that is on Recovery, except maybe Going Through Changes.

And lol I knew I would push some buttons with that Relapse & Recovery comment :sweating:

So this flow makes it better than any song on Relapse or Recovery?

Not having a go at you bro just genuinely interested how you came to that conclusion.

Its a good song. But my favourites off Encore are still Yellow Brick Road and Spend Some time. And I think that YBR is very underrated.

Didn't like his flow. He seemed to be a fraction behind the beat and it was really annoying.

Spend Some Time is my favourite verse on Encore by some distance.

I was surprised no one called this glaringly incorrect statement out, myself. Kudos to KM85.

Yellow Brick Road's third verse (more so the first half) is pretty good also.

Like Toy Soldiers is actually one of my favourite Em songs, probably because I remember loving it when it came out and it does have that nostalgic vibe to it when I hear it.

I just said that to get a rise out of people. I do enjoy it more than most songs on Relapse & Recovery though, mainly because of the nostalgia and voiced used(absolutely hate the Relapse accent and not a fan of the screaming delivery on Recovery). LTS is just nice on the ears.

Yeah but it's a yawn festival.

That's not just my opinion either, that's an actual fact: proven by NASA.
