Em did NOT say that. He said he felt like "rap needs this album right now". He didn't say it would "change the rap game". He probably just felt that what everyone was putting out at that was sub par and if you're a fan of hardcore lyrical stuff, then you'll love this one.

Ah yeah, I remember that comparison too now, it was a British interview but the thing is; they just hadn't let people know about Recovery yet. But that was not long before Recovery was released, and it's obvious from his descriptions he's talking about the tracks from Recovery. It's just at that time, they didn't tell people there was no Relapse 2 yet.

On Numb, when he was finished being a butt pirate or w.e. his flow,lyrics and voice really did sound like a marshall mathers lp eminem. I saw the song as a really good sign of the style hes currently recording. Hes backkk.

I could see the new album maybe being as good as late '02 or first half of '03. It would be nice to hear something on the level with "Monkey Doo"- I felt that was a solid verse. (despite having a dumb name)
