Just listened to My Life for the first time, people like it? Its really hard for the song to resonate with me with such a horrible cookie cutter chorus, makes the whole song seem incredibly fake, which is said since 50 probably feels what he's writing. Rap choruses are not particularly hard to make, the problem is they arent making rap choruses they're making pop choruses. Also WTF is Em doing with his flow, its kinda impressive but its stupid as fuck and adds absolutely nothing to the song, it just has no purpose outside of "hey guys check this shit out, I can make my flow sound like a twizzler" and on the downbeat making his voice go high "SPUUHgetti" "UGHlectricity." I've seen guitarists overplaying a song to crap but I think Em has invented rappers "overflowing." I mean listen to him from back in 03, hell how about in 2010, he raps like hes a human being with a grasp on the norms of speaking. Now its just seeing how many words he can cram into 16 bars.

I dont care if guys like it and Im not trying to stop that, just stating I wont be bumping this shit.

This was recorded in 2010 though, recently Em has been sounding more normal. But some of the forced rhymes and flow fucked me off. Still think the song is dope for what it is, find it very enjoyable.

Psycho is easily the best, though My Life had the most work put into it. It was meant to be a single and they worked the hell out of the production (though a couple spots still bother me). Peep show isn't even close to the same level. I'm more interested to hear the other track that's aimed (in 50's words) more at their core audience. I bet it's gonna be the best collab since Patiently Waiting.
