You're right about the 15 years EM had... esp. since he has said so many times LL is one of his biggest influences & you're right it's not happening too, but you're way wrong about ''Exit 13'' as it was a good album... esp. 'cuz it didn't have no expesnive feats. or trendy beats on it like the music industry works right now. Plus don't forget LL has countless timeless classics & he's been relevant all the way from the early 80's up until now.
I disagree. Very few artists makes 12 albums. Even fewer have any quality left. I enjoyed Cry, it was really the only song I would want to hear more than once.
I don't think Em and LL would have good chemistry on a song even in LL's prime. Probably why we've never gotten a song.
Nope you're wrong... He's about to drop his 14th album & a lot of them are considered classics, most of them at least platinum as well.
We never heard EM & LL together cuz of politics... as both of the them have been monumental to Interscope & Def Jam respectively which makes it nearly impossible right there considering the way those two labels have always dealt with one another in that kinda deals.
Em himself has wanted it a lot & have shown it.
EM cut Canibus off with that then surely coming collabo & then wrote ''The ripper strikes back'' for LL to diss back Canibus. Then not too long ago EM called in while LL was on the radio & told him he's been a fan of him forever & asked LL to visit him in Detroit. EM did LL's classic ''Rock the bells'' along with Black Thought on that LL trubute too. It's all politics, nothing about chemistry or whatever type of creative difference in between them two.
