It's funny to think things so far removed from Eminem as The Dark Knight would actually be different, even if its ever so slightly, if Eminem had never blown up.

Actually, the "Will the real Batman please stand up" could have stayed in there, as I'm fairly certain the origin of the reference in The Real Slim Shady is actually from an old TV show called Tell The Truth.

I wasn't aware of that, but I don't think Nolan was referencing Tell The Truth.
I guess there's no way of knowing for sure though.

the funniest Eminem song was a re-interpretation of 8 mile road in Akila and the bee. It was weird how they even jacked the sittin in a train looking out of the window sequence at that moment as well.
