I don't see much point in this besides being a promo show for that shop... Em (especially lately) seems to be do anything he can to keep Detroit on the map, or boost it. But I don't see how they're gonna make a show about sneakers 'must see' or exciting beyond the odd moment.

I don't really get this also as... if Em co-produced this... surely he knows what the content of the show is going to be, it's not like they just wing it... so how was it a surprise to him. Seems weird, makes it seem like the pursuit to get those sneakers wasn't a pursuit at all, since it had to be pre-planned? Unless I'm missing something...

ALL reality shows are staged to an extent. I think it's great he's supporting local Detroit entrepreneurs.
