While I don't find it likely, I would say though, that the probability is greater this time around, than for any other of Eminem's releases. Em changed/updated his "album formula" quite drastically with Recovery (several producers, two pop-features, no skits, no 'funny first-single', etc etc...). Also, LTWYL was a huge success; "I wanted to thank Rihanna too, to helping propel the record to where it's at now".

We’ll see. As long as it’s dope I don’t care really.

Recovery was different, that was an album that was meant to be really serious, unlike every album before it. Judging by the recent features, the new album will be a return to the normal.

What is normal, though? Is it...
- Funny first single?
- Skits?
- Dre production?
- No pop-features?

I would agree that it's likely that the upcoming album will have more humor, and in general be a little more light-hearted and funny. I also think the album will include a couple of tracks reminiscent of Relapse.

The "formula" is out the window now, in my eyes. At least as far as the first single is concerned.

You might get something like "Fast Lane" as a first single. Not really funny in the way that "My Name Is" and "The Real Slim Shady" were, but more of a light-hearted track with an up-tempo beat. Even that's just a guess though, it could go either way.

Like I said earlier... most likely not for the first single but likely for some of the rest singles on the album.
But as I think of it now... Pop artist & poppy hook could be two different things so it's kinda possible for Em's singles to be like poppy orientated even if he didn't have pop artists on 'em.

It's possible, he can always try something new for a first single like he did with Not Afraid.
Fuck top five, bitch, I'm top four
And that includes Biggie and Pac, whore
And I got an Evil Twin
So who the fuck do you think that third and that fourth spot's for?

If the hook is kinda similar to Echo then I wouldn't mind.

I agree... it's just a single so it's like whatever. A hook or a feat. for one of the singles never define a whole album anyway.

I agree... I think so too for a pop artist but poppy hook is still possible though.

What happened with that rumour of Eminem samples Jamie N Commons for upcoming single ? I think something like that could be the first single. A big pop artist in a first single ? I don't think so, but maybe as a second single or at some point we can expect something like that, don't forget how much LTWYL helped with the sales of Recovery.

i just hope that if he has to work with a pop artist is not Rihanna, Katy Perry or one of those. I prefer someone like Adele or Christina Aguilera. The last one is not that impossible, she worked with Alex Da kid alot for her album...

Personally I wouldn't put Adele in the same box than Rihanna, Katy Perry or Christina. But that would be another topic.

I'm ok if he feautures a a pop artist in a good way, he did in the past with Dido, I think it depends more on who. I would prefer if he goes for another way though...Eminem+ rock collaborations always work amazing, think about him sampling Aerosmith in Sing for the moment or Ozzy in Going though changes.

Guess_who? k pasa? como estás? XD I agree with your statement, and yeah! ir's much better if he works with rock artists or sample them. But I'm sure, that he's going to make the same exact formula he did with Recovery and I'm guessing that at least there will be an r&b or pop feature. I don't want to be the same old people and I just want real talent. I've heard all the features that christina did with other rappers like Castle walls and it's amazing. However, i don't know if it's going to happen, knowing their history. Maybe he features Pink again...let's see if it's something good this time and not a WBD shit.

Hola! Bien, me alegro de verte por aquí de nuevo. :y:

I must say I love Won't back down. haha, but I wouldn't like another pink collaboration. New things.
There are lots of amazing artists he can put on the hook. I hope we can know it soon anyway. Nos vemos por aquí!
