I heard them briefly talk about the song last night on Power 106 just when I was in my car, they were just saying the reaction on Twitter was really split but the dialogue it was creating was interesting and that also this is clearly "just the first taste" we're getting from the album, they seemed pretty chill about it....

Personally I love the shit outta the hook and the vibe of the song but the verses don't do much for me, at least not after the initial listens, I really wish he had this hook but came stronger on the verses. This song doesn't "worry" me about the album although I wish the song was a lil better as this is clearly a first single that is just basically supposed to be a silly and fun party anthem with an old school throwback vibe, I don't think an album called "MMLP2" is gonna be full of silly party anthem songs about partying all night long do you?

Having said all that, I def. don't hate the song, crank that shit up and when the hook comes in but again I wish the verses were better. As I said in an earlier post, if anything, the song is NOT safe and hopefully that bodes well for what we will get in the album.
