Em does a really shitty job of promoting new talent. He put his heart and soul into making 50 Cent, Obie, and D12 popular and now there's absolutely no promotion for new talent. That being said, I would've loved to have Yelawolf and Slaughterhouse instead of the pop singer features on MMLP2.

He really shoudnt even have a record label tbh. He has never done anything with it or any of his artists I agree with rolle... They could honestly do better with just interscope alone imo.

I'm not mad about how they will be, I don't care about that haha, its just that I really wanted to hear something with D12, or yelawolf at least... or another Rapper for fuck's sake. I haven't enjoyed ANY of the songs he has made so far with any pop stars.

I think Eminem definitely needs promotion. No matter what, he's been out for 14 or 15 years and this is 2013 not really 2002...he needs at least 1 interview, some performances...but he seems to not care any more.

As much as I love the fact that Yela is signed to Shady... it really sucks that he isn't used as much as he should be. He's my second favorite rapper by far.

I honestly believe that Yela has inspired em to be the "fast paced double time" rapper that he has become. Em didn't start doing this until he and Yela got close.

lol. They may have there reasons for not doing it. Yela may even have wanted to distance himself so that he's not looked at as Em's white rapper protege, a lot of people see him like that. He may just want Em on his projects only where he's not the guest. I'd say if Love Story doesn't turn out well (god forbid) then he might leave or get dropped, better that then being back benched.

More like Yela should leave. Shady isn't very good at promoting and Eminem doesn't seem to care or invest in Yela. He gave Yela the Skylar Grey treatment (one thrown in verse, no production and a vanity "Executive Producer" title) and she's not even on the label. That's embarrassing. Yela's a good rapper and an entertaining performer. He'd do much better somewhere else.

I got nothing against Skylar neither, but I'm starting to be tired of her. I would rather prefer to have Yelawolf on the album.

His "crew" sucks and i don't want to hear them.

And the ones I do kind of like (royce, 50) I'm sick of them. Eminem only stays kind of relevant because he is very talented and works at it. The others don't.

None of them has made an Eminem song better. Another Eminem verse would always be better.

I'm glad Em finally got smart and stopped giving that shit crew a free ride.

I don't need another verse of Bizzare's fat ass trying to be edgy

I don't need another verse of Dre talking about how awesome he is.

I don't need another verse about Royce telling me how he's the best...second to only EMMMMMM

I don't need another verse from any of that shit.

He could of added a couple more people. But he did good enough. I listen to Eminem to hear Eminem. Not his mediocre friends.

One aspect being overlooked is that Kendrick being the ONLY feature shows a WHOLE different approach by Eminem. Crack a Bottle, No Love, Encore, You dont know... notice a trend? Eminem has been doing features for the single treatment, for the relevance, for the cross fan appeal. I feel that this lack of features shows a confidence in himself as an artist. Further, the way this album was made, even Slaughterhouse was tuned out!!! This is REALLY, Eminem at his most insular and i love it. We getting Eminem the "secretive" rapper where he is not even using Crutches to be good.

Look, Rick Rubin is a strong believer in "song structure". That is, a song should have verses, be of a good length and have a strong hook. Evidently (Berzerk and Survival, Love the way you lie, No love, I'm on everything) Eminem has been using the vocals on the hook to INSPIRE him rather than the other way round. Now, i dont really care (like most people do) whether Eminem raps his own hooks or not. Sue me. All i want is dope end product and that tracklist, if done right, could give dope end product.

Em didn't want Yela to be on it because he didn't want people to realize that there's a better white rapper.
