Lighters sucked ass. Love Em, love Royce, love Bruno. Shit didn't come together though. Cheese fest. And although Royce was sick on the album, beating out Em on a number of songs IMO, his Lighters verse was atrocious. Em's was only aiiiight.

They both suck dick for what they represent though; unashamed direct formatted written FOR radio (Em even sticks to exact 16 bars on 'the monster', lamely following the rules like he never usually does) and both totally conceptually and musically out of place with the body of work they reside on.

The Monster has only been out for a matter of hours.....I understand people giving their initial reactions to the song but to try and decide if I like it or a song from like 2 years ago doesn't make sense imo. It's like when Rap God came out and within an hour people were saying it was top 10 of all Em songs and shit.........no........shut the fuck up and think for a minute, these are the same idiots that get engaged after 6 months and wonder why they get divorced after one year of marriage.
