I guarantee 80-90% of the people hating this album are jamming Wayne and Kanye on a daily basis. Probably even chief kief and Trinidad

"Who cares about other people's criticisms of MMLP 2? Their opinions suck!!!"

Yeah, why not just live the rest of your life a blind stan believing whatever Em puts out is classic material. Sometimes, reading what other people have concerns with helps you open your eyes and lets you develop criticisms of your own!

Tragic portrait of an artist tortured
Trapped in his own drawings

But in my head there’s a voice in the back and it hollas
After the track is demolished
I am your lack of a conscience

I’m your time that’s almost up that you haven’t acknowledged
Grab for some water but I’m that pill that’s too jagged to swallow

Not really. Your rhetoric on judging music should be 100% you, not influenced by what other people think. Who cares if you're a blind stan? Eminem's worst critic is him. He's a grown-ass man, he doesn't need a 20 year old like me telling him what to work on.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion, but this album is pretty good. The fact it's actually getting good critical reviews, when even Ems classics have only gotten 75-78 on metacritic, speaks for itself.

It's pretty good man. Especially with the addition of Baby, Desperation, Groundhog Day, Beautiful Pain, and Wicked Ways.

It's certainly better than anything Jay has done since AG. And it may be better than anything Jay has done since Black Album, will have to take AG off my rack and bump it in the next few weeks.

It's Ems Stillmatic, a great follow up to the original. Not a classic by any means, but dope. Yes? No?

Nostalgia also plays a factor, subconsciously or not. Em reached heights so high that to some, he'll never be good again in their eyes until he hits that level again which isn't fair. You may as well stop listening if that's the case. There's nothing more for you to enjoy, whether it's a classic or not.

Yeah, I agree.

I hate how Jay and Nas get a pass with mediocre-average efforts even though their peaks were pretty high as well.

A good percentage of the people who hate on Em now, specifically on KTT are around the ages of 15-19 who think TES is 6/10. Honestly, the only opinion that matters is yours and Eminem's. I don't get how people think the album is trash. Oh, but that Yeezus album along with NTWS are masterpieces, right? :coffee:

Eminem is too popular, you gonna find more people who hate him, because the bigger the audience, the bigger the hate, and the love.

I feel some of the hate is similar to Replace reaction, people just don't get it.

But this album is getting good reviews (if you care about the public reaction, you care about reviews), I didn't see less than 4 stars review.

It's so dumb that they comment how whack his album is when they only heard "monster". I want to punch them in the face so bad. They annoy me so much always comparing this to the first album. It's normal for him to change. Damn. They have such high expectations, like Em is supposed to please every person . :))) :facepalm2

You do get to pick who you pay attention to though. There's no reason to listen to just any random fuck.
