^ He was trying too hard before, he has accepted his inner nerd/misanthrope. It might sound weird but I prefer his sense of humour on MMLP2 to most of his earlier stuff.

Not even the part were he described exactly what happened to him? Years before it happened?

If you're talking about what he says around the 14:00 mark? Not really. It's a pretty logical thought process to think "Some people go to alcohol and drugs when fame overwhelms them". It turns out he was no exception to what many celebrities go through.

The guy went from that interview to being 2 hours away from death thanks to his pill and booze problems.

And? Doesn't change my statement.

Still don't see what's so crazy about it. He said that sometimes drugs and alcohol overtake people. It turns out they overtook him for a period of his life. Happens.

That part is not that eerie, as a lot of entertainers have given into alcohol and drugs.

"Eminem and Slim Shady have just become more of an entertainment name to me. I don't really look at it like I'm dividing up the personalities or anything like that."

This quote needs to be posted on the top of this forum and the top of every Eminem Youtube video so stupid fans can stop talking about "the Slim Shady character."

It's eerie because he thought he was safe at that point in time...like he'd already gone through the danger. Instead, the danger was right around the corner for him, and he was two hours away from death.

I can't believe I'm even having to explain this. This board has hit a new low.

I think it's more so that your're a too much of an Eminem fanboy. Most people on this forum hang on everything he says and try to find a deeper meaning for it when there is nothing to think about.

Relax nerd.

That there is the greatest MC ever which is kinda crazy to think about.

The interviewer was a retard and I hope he has by now left this planet in a most horrible and painful way.

That's it.

I guess people really don't get it.

There seems to be this mentality here where fans just shrug at Eminem's drug addiction. *shrugs*..."oh, he wuz alwayz on drugzzz, wut else iz new?"

This wasn't some "partying" thing, this was a man with enough pills in his system to make an elephant drop dead. It's an absolute miracle that Eminem is still alive. He had an appointment with a fucking grave. And here he is in this interview, completely unaware that he was about to be introduced to Ambien and his life would change forever.

Eminem is basically a dead man who was brought back to life right now. This is really no different than if you were to see a Heath Ledger interview and he said the same thing. The only difference is, Ledger didn't luck out by getting to the hospital 2 hours before he checked out.
