Why do you think Eminem uses the new accent?

lyrically, E's still got it. But the accent doesn't have the flow and melody of his previous work. listen to a song like till i collapse or square dance and the words just go, in a song like ass like that or my mom their isn't that flow anymore. the only song on relapse that i've heard that old sound was Beautiful, which happens to be the best song on the album IMO. I dont mind the accent cuz i still love E's older songs but relapse was kind of a disappointment.

No I know exactly why he uses the accent! its because if he puts on that accent, it allows him to rhyme words that dont really rhyme, I mean I know he always did that anyway but if you listen to his words and the way he says them with the accent they wouldnt rhyme if he said it normal!! that what he meant by "experimenting with his voice, and words" - personally for me I would rather have him do the accent and keep making music, rather than give up cos he's getting hated on for it!! C'mon people, you cant tell me that you dont listen to the tracks with the accent on them - no matter what he says or how he says it people are always gonna listen to his new music!!
