Stay Wide Awake playing

Talkin about Old Time's Sake

When he heard the beat, he said it felt like old times.

When he first listens to a beat, if it doesn't give him an idea he skips to the next beat.

Old Time's Sake playing

He loves to "move it, move it!" ha ha

Next: Must Be the Ganja

He says it must be the smell of the Ganja that gots him in this zone when he's in the studio with Dre.

Must Be the Ganja playing

Next: Deja Vu and Beautiful

He says they are the part of the album where it's all jokes aside and time to address some issues.

Deja Vu & Beautiful Playing (played one after another)

In Deja Vu was talking about an actual matter that happened.

Says its the truth about whats been goin on.

He said he didn't wanna admit he was an addict after Rehab.

Took him 4 to 5 years to admit he's an addict.

He says he can't drink or do anything to jeapordize his sobriety.

He can't even take Nyquil or over the counter stuff.

That's what started the addiction.

He has to stay 100% sober at all times.

He's been practicing the step, going to meetings, and he's not half-assing it.

Beautiful is the only song on the record that he recorded during the time period when he was on the drugs.

It's the only song he feels was good enough and makes sense to put on the record.

He put the song on there because its a powerful song that people can relate to when they are in a dark place.

Itll remind them that they can get out of it and make life better.

Next: Underground

It's his way of metaphorically going back underground to the times at the hip hop shop where it didnt matter what he would say.

He could say anything and nobody would care cuz he wasn't famous yet.

It's like a sequel to Just Don't Give a Fuck or Criminal.

He says it even start off the same.

Tellin you to cop 2, 3 or 4 copies of it on May 19.

Says Ken makes an appearance and he can tap dance

Em is proud of the album.

He's proud of his sobriety above everything else.

Found out that things he didnt think he could do sober, he was able to.

He says he does things better than he did when he was high.

<Prelapse is over and Em has left>

Now they're doing a mix of Em's songs for an hour

They did lol.

He basically explained why he did a Shady album cuz the fans wanted it.

A bit annoyed at that though. He said he wants to go back to just doing stuff for him and not giving a fuck what people thinks then says he did it because Dre said people wanted it lol...

Glad he said Underground is a metaphor to him going underground in style and subtance though. Relapse 2 should be awesome.

No offense, but did you really think a 36 year old man who just suffered his best friend's death, rehab and other crisis wanted to make songs about opening umbrellas in a woman's vagina? It was so obvious he went into Slim Shady mode cause he wanted to get to impressing fans/shocking people.

You can really tell when an artist is making commercial/entertainment music or really making music for themselves (Bagpips in Bahgdad vs. Deja Vu). Songs like 3 a.m. isn't a song Em's gonna be reflecting on in 3 years.
