The only thing that kind of bugs me is..

Fair do's in a way, if he'd just came to the thing and done nothing. I mean Eminems nothing to them without some controversy. They would've needed to get some life out of him.

But the guy was one of the stars of the show, one of the big attractions. He did interviews, adverts and a big set for a performance that really got the crowd going. He was basically repping MTV, when really he could've just said "i'm performing, that's it".

So with that said, it seemed a bit strange that they did it to him in particular, and not maybe another big name that was doing less for them.

This "stunt" was not scripted and he was set to land on stage. During the drop he hit something in the scaffold and spun out of control. He then landed as you see there on Eminem. To think something like that was planned is just ridiculous.

I may be wrong, and I can see where you guys are coming from, however, just think- if this was real, even though mtv is powerful, eminem could make their lives miserable. Other artists, besides from shady aftermath, would think twice before going on there.

Remember, Eminem has just come back in the spotlight, he needs to rebuild. He is older now and by doing this, he gets lots of press, people get angry for him and go out and buy his album in support.

He also now has the villified card to play against the industry now again.

Also, in industry circles, he shows that even though he disses others, he is able to take one himself for the greater goal. Eminem has talked about getting back into movies and will shave a cameo in the movie"funny people" and even possibly Bruno now.

What better way to build up hype for relapse 2.

There are several places that say it was staged and other places who say it wasn't.. I mean it is publicity for both Em's Relapse and the new movie... Also, I mean if it was an accident and it wasn't supposed to happen, I dont think that MTV would plaster his face on their front page for the past couple days.. There have been several crew members that said that they did rehearse the scene before the show and MTV was saying how Eminem would be epic tonight, and his performance was far from that.... Also, they randomly had cameras right there to capture everything?? They shot right at Em and he looked up and shit right before and saw the angle he was coming down, he could have easily moved away. And his buddies didn't like beat the shit out of Bruno they just pushed him around a little bit, if it was really not supposed to happen I have to say that they would have had a different reaction..
