Of course it's a Bonnie & Clyde reference. Sometimes I wonder how the fuck people don't get shit like this. Really? Is it that cryptic? C'mon...

It's sort of like when some one made the connection that the intro to Underground and Criminal and Still Don't Give A Fuck all started out with "A lot of people ask me...". And far too many people on here were like "OMG, I never noticed that!". Really? I thought these things were pretty clear...

I think Bonnie = Hailie, which has probably been established somewhere in this topic, from the song '97 Bonnie & Clyde.

More reason why I think this is because of the lyrics. "'97 Bonnie & Clyde, me and my daughter"

I don't think that anyone one of any intelligence is debating that. He refers to himself as Clyde Mathers and Hailie as Bonnie Jade on the Eminem Show as well.

Those are the names he established for himself and Hailie on 97 Bonnie & Clyde.

Menzo wrote:97' Bonnie and Clyde. Dunno what the significance of the names are, but like Abram said, Em = Clyde and Hailie = Bonnie.

Bonnie and Clyde were a famous criminal pair that did a bunch of gangster shit back in the day. They're referenced in Rap songs from time to time.
