I think he looked more like a retarded robot in his earlier performances, but as the year has gone on, he has loosened up and gotten a lot better. He started looking more comfortable when he was performing "Rock the Bells" and has continued to do better. At the AMAs and VooDoo performances, he looked pretty comfortable up on stage. It probably jus took him a while to get used to performing, especially without drugs.
