He's not that type of an artist and it's not what I want to hear when I pick up an Eminem album.

He gives me irony, mood, poetry, fiction, many things. There's so many people making music soely for that purpose. We don't need somebody of Em's talent doing it lol. Waste of his skills.

@Mikey1990, Well I can tell you that I hate on CAB because of 50. Other than 50 I like it too. Em's verse is classic. Beautiful phrasing.

50 just totally ruined the thought of the song in my mind with his stupid piece of shit of a verse.

50 is wack nowadays

You said 50 isn't bad and his verse is as dope as Em n Dre's. I didn't respond to that with "Omg man, I just don't like 50 okay, it's my opinion, stop offending it!".

I just responded as to why I think it's not as good. I'm allowed to post my opinion as you are yours. If you don't want a reply then don't post things which will obviously provoke one.

okay then.....
50 is the shit :shifty:

Lmao. I think it's a pretty big stretch to say it's one of the best rap albums of all time.

It's great largely due to the production. There are some great songs on it but mainly purely because of the hooks. And apart from some great hooks, it's just an aimless, near-witless album.

Power of the Dollar is better lyrically and in concepts.

But it's not even a top 10 album for me. Either one.

Many Men, P.I.M.P, Don't Push Me, In Da Club, Patiently Waiting, 21 Questions, Heat and Back Down alone make this album a classic

I disagree. An album needs to have substance or be lyrically good to be a classic rap album to me. None of those tracks are lyrically impressive. Again, just excellent production and some good hooks.

A classic gangsta album maybe but not a classic rap album. None of it is anything new, substantial, inspiring... It's just done well. But not done other-worldly well.

Like you hear a real classic like Illmatic. Even now and think... Ah, that's why it's a classic. Or Black on Both Sides or MMLP. Get Rich' isn't like that. For me anyway. I just hear it and think, great production, nice hooks.

And many more people in fact, always more than do - With anything DON'T consider it a classic SO, they ALL can't be wrong can they?

What a ridiculous argument. Trying to argue in numbers lmao. Just look how many people believe in god. Or how many think religion is a source for morality.

Besides all that, it's opinion. It wouldn't matter if 99.9% of the entire human population agreed that Get Rich was a classic rap album because there's no measurable way of knowing if it is or isn't and everybody's definition of a classic could be different. So yes, they all can be wrong. Because it's not a fact.

First and foremost we can comfortably say there is no god as comfortably as we can any fictional creation. There has never been any proof, plenty against the notion and it defies logic.

If you believe in god, by definition - You are deluded.

Secondly, okay, it is in your book. Not mine. (REAL END).

I'm not arguing over your opinion, I'm responding to it.

Don't forget - You are the one who quoted me and replied to me to start this. So don't act as if we're hounding on you for posting your opinion. I posted an aimless reply and you quoted it and said 50's verse is as good. So of course I'm gonna reply.

u gottan admit that em's verse was still kind of shitty... i hate crack a bottle and i think em sounds the worst on it... his voice kinda sounds more high pitched and the lyrics were :n:

but i did like the the crack a bottle that originally was leaked with em rapping dre's verses

*EDIT it still was a shitty song though lol
