Not because she can't do it, but mainly because it isn't necessary for her. College is something that shows you have knowledge in a field of one kind or another. What's the reason for that? You can get that knowledge elsewhere. It's mainly to secure funding, or get jobs that you can't otherwise secure due to lack of real-world experience.

She'll be able to do whatever she pleases independent of the factors that many of us would have to face. She'll have the financial support to pursue her on endeavors, and become a success of her own.

I enjoy college, but I don't believe it necessary to learn even complex subjects. I believe the factors I listed apply to my situation, for sure.

I know how you feel. I felt like all of my college classes were common sense. I mean, in one of my courses, we actually had a test on the meanings of race, poverty, and social class. And some of the students failed. . My minor was Urban Studies. The other students who took that minor, had no idea about city life, and would ask me questions about going to a poor inner-city school, and my "struggle" to make it out of the hood, and attend a basically all-white expensive university. Gosh, I miss college. Easiest 4 years of my life.

You can teach at the college level with a Bachelor's degree. I was under the impression that you can teach K-12 in your area of education with a Bachelor's, if you become certified as a teacher, but I suppose I was wrong.
